The work of the photographer Jiří Toman from Pardubice is extensive and varied, and this time the Fotograf Gallery will present an intimate selection inspired by a rather unreflected set of photographs of the foaming Elbe, ice crystals and snowdrifts taken in the vicinity of the weir near Počáply. Original working enlargements will be complemented by digital reprints from Toman’s negatives and contemporary entries by Šarka Zahálková, who was inspired by both Toman’s photographs and his involvement in animated film.
